Hi folks. I know, its been a while since my last post so its nice to finally be able to sit down and talk about 2015. At the beginning of 2015, I decided I wanted to start introducing Eternal Jupiter to the world. It was the first year since I graduated that I started doing shows and events to get my game out to the public. I had a great time getting out and meeting new people, letting many of you try my demo and making new friends along the way.
It was busy year trying to find balance between a new job, family and game development, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. While some of you may be familiar with game through a couple of New Jersey Sheep’s Meow events that I did in February and September, the one event I did not get to talk about on here was Gameacon. In November, I was at the Tropicana Casino and Resort showing off Eternal Jupiter at a three day event dedicated to Indie Games and the art behind them.
At Gameacon 2015, during a livestream with Hitbox, for the first time on the web, you could see actual game play from the second level of Eternal Jupiter.
Also, Ambocc Studios did a quick preview while they were attending the show.
During the convention, I made many new friends and even got to take a huge group photo with all of the developers.
Most importantly, I got to meet many of you out there, the gamers, who were awesome enough to come by and check out my game 🙂
To all of my friends and family both old and new, I would like to thank you for making 2015 and incredible year. As 2015 has already passed, I am looking forward to an excellent 2016. Pretty soon, I will be uploading a new demo for Eternal Jupiter where you will all get to try out the second level of the game in addition to the first level and the 2 Player Local CoOp. I’ll also be planning to demo off at more events as the year rolls on. I’ll post more info as details become available.
Right now, I would like to sincerely thank Fox Marketing LLC for inviting me to Gameacon 2015. I look forward to doing the event again in 2016. More info on that as we get closer to the date.
Everyone have an excellent 2016 folks!
Last night, I had a blast showing Eternal Jupiter to the attendees at the NJ Arcade in Bloomfield College. I want to sincerely thank The Sheep’s Meow, Darren Shield, Bloomfield College and Swd Tech Games for hosting this event. We had a great turnout and the entire night was epic!!!
Last but certainly not least, I want to thank all of my friends and attendees that showed up to play my creation. I look forward to seeing you all soon. It was great hearing all of your input and I look forward to adding more to the game as things move forward.
